CONDITION REPORT: Excellent condition. Dial and hands are mint & the case appears unpolished, but worn. All functions are working properly and the movement is running well.

Gerald Genta is considered a visionary designer and always sought to mix art, design and complicated watchmaking. He was the first to incorporate Disney characters on the dial of a high end watch, especially a complication like this jump hours retrograde minutes. Here we have Donald Duck in a baseball uniform, the arm & bat serve as the retrograde minutes hand and provide an animation of a swinging bat when the minutes fly or retrograde back from 60 to 0 and the hours, displayed digitally in the large window, jump simultaneously. It was initially met with mixed reviews in the 1990’s, but like so many artists, the appreciation for their genius came decades later. Today, these highly sought after and fun wristwatches remain a great way to enjoy a complicated mechanism.
