DIAL: Silver two tone dial with blue tachymeter scale. Blued hands and chronograph hands.

CASE: 38mm stainless steel case, square pushers, snap back, acrylic crystal

MOVEMENT: Longines Calibre 13ZN, manual wind column wheel flyback chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Brown leather strap

CONDITION REPORT: The watch is in overall good & original condition. The dial has visible aging spots as is quiet common on the silver base dials. The case is crisp and thick, appears unpolished. The crown matches the watch overall, but appears slightly smaller than usual and may be a service replacement. Overall a great example of this rare oversized flyback chronograph from Longines.

NOTES: According to the Archives Extract, the present watch was delivered to Ostersetzer, agent for Italy, in 1943. In exchanges with Longines, they have confirmed their internal reference for this watch is 5009.
The present watch last appeared at Phillips Geneva watch auction in May 2017.
