DIAL: Three tone dial with Arabic numeral and blued hands.

CASE: 40mm stainless steel back (chrome case), snap back, acrylic crystal

MOVEMENT: Center seconds, manual wind, 15 jewels

BRACELET: Brown leather strap

CONDITION REPORT: The dial has some visible marks and hairline scratches, but is original. The chrome case is worn and has some scratches as well. Overall a stunning oversized watch and impressive on the wrist.

NOTES: The large 40mm “non-magnetic” chrome plated and steel back case is unusual for such a watch from the late 1930s. The three-tone dial is striking in its depth and different color tones . This watch in such a large case and with this dial configuration is the only one we have observed and in fact was the same one sold at Phillips watch auction in 2016.
