Serial: 24725435
Circa: 1967
Reference: 165.024
DIAL: Black with tritium luminous hour markers
Luminous steel “sword” hands, luminous
CASE: 42mm, Stainless Steel, Bakelite rotating bi-directional 60min bezel, lyre lugs, back engraved with Seamaster logo and the words “Certified High Pressure Waterproof”
MOVEMENT: Omega Cal. 552, self-winding mechanical, 24 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring
BRACELET: Molequin leather strap
CONDITION REPORT: The bezel has discolored over time to a stunning navy blue color and is intact without any cracking. The dial and hands are mint and have aged to a light cream color. The bezel has some surface crackling at the 9 minute hash and the tritium numerals have aged with nice brown patina. The caseback is crisp and the case appears unpolished. Overall a very nice example and with the rare and elusive navy blue bezel.
NOTES: According to the Omega Museum archives extract this watch was manufactured October 26, 1967 and delivered to Denmark.
