DIAL: Glossy black dial with wg applied tritium hour markers. Original ‘Mercedes’ hands with central sweep seconds. 1000ft=300m and SWISS – T < 25 indicated on the dial.

CASE: 40mm, stainless steel with black rotating bezel, sapphire crystal

MOVEMENT: Caliber 3000, Self-winding mechanical movement with 27 jewels

BRACELET: Rolex stainless steel fliplock Oyster bracelet 93150/501B dated Z12

CONDITION REPORT: Excellent overall condition. As this is a U Serial, the luminous material is a tritium luminova mix (commonly called tritnova), while dial still has swiss-t<25. The dial hands and insert are all matching and in excellent condition. The case and bracelet are worn but appear unpolished.

NOTES: The present example comes complete with original box and papers.

The 14060 was launched in 1989/1990 and is the replacement reference to the iconic 5513 Submariner with the addition of a sapphire crystal and the updated caliber 3000. The sapphire crystal and case redesign also resulted in a higher depth rating from 200 meters to 300 meters, as indicated on the dial (1000ft = 300m).
