Omega Speedmaster 105.002-62 FAP 1963 CHF 30,000.00
Omega Speedmaster 105.002-62, Peruvian Air Force (FAP), Blue Bezel
Serial: 19584300
Circa: 1963
Reference No.: 105.002-62

CASE: 39mm, stainless steel, steel with black (blue hue) DO90 tachymeter bezel

DIAL: Black matte dial, applied logo, trititum hour markers, swiss made
Alpha h/m hands, drop seconds chrono hand and baton counter hands

MOVEMENT: Calibre 321, hand-wound column wheel chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Omega Stainless Steel 7912/6 dated 2.63

CONDITION REPORT: The dial is original and untouched with tritium markers having a nice patina as well as the hands. The original DO90 bezel has aged to vivid blue and has signs of wear. The case appears to be worn and unpolished, still thick with original bevels still visible as well as the FAP engraving on the back and the name of the pilot Jorge Soto engraved on the back as well. The crown is original flat foot crown. Overall a stunning example of a rare transitional reference and wear is matching with the military provenance.

Notes: According to our preliminary check with the Omega Museum, the present watch was manufactured in July 19, 1963 and delivered to the Peruvian Air Force. No archives extracts are available at this time from Omega.
