NOTES: The Cartier Coussin often refered to as the Bamboo was released in approximately 1973 with a very short production run and appearing in the catalog for 1 year until 1974. The name Coussin is French for cushion or pillow refering to its rounded rectangular case with raised corners reminiscent of old fashion seams or piping. It was made in two sizes and this is the Jumbo 29 x 37mm reference is 78102, while the ladies size is 78110. It is believed only 250 pieces were produced from the tight serial range they appear in, judging by how few ever appear on the market it is presumable that far less were actually ever produced.
