DIAL: Black matte dial with tritium hour markers, mission patch in the register at 9 o’clock, original tritium baton hands

MOVEMENT: Caliber 861, hand wound mechanical chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Original Omega stainless steel bracelet

CONDITION REPORT: Mint condition. Includes the original warranty card, booklets, mission patch, Apollo XIII box & outer box with reference and serial sticker. Also included are the original hangtag and caseback sticker on the side.

NOTES: In 1995, Omega released this limited edition for the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission in 1970, which came at the same time as the “Apollo 13” movie with Tom Hanks and Kevin Bacon. Omega decided to commemorate the year and mission with a limited edition Speedmaster Professional of just 999 pieces and the only other Speedmaster with a mission patch on a tritium dial other than the 1976 Apollo-Soyuz. As you can see on the images, the caseback has – besides the regular “Flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions” and “The first watch worn on the Moon” inscription, an additional inscription stating “Apollo 13 Limited Series XXX/999”.
