MOVEMENT: VC 1124/1 (JLC ebauche), automatic, 33 jewels

BRACELET: Integrated Stainless Steel & Gold link bracelet (Gay Freres)

CONDITION REPORT: Watch is in overall excellent condition and all original. There is some wear visible on case, bracelet and screws. The dial and hands are original and lume is original.
The movement was fully overhauled in June 2022.

NOTES: This watch comes with its original warranty papers from 1982 and correspond to the watch and to Vacheron records.
The watch serial numbers were checked to be matching by Vacheron Constantin in Geneva and correspond to this reference 46004/411M delivered in 1982.
The Vacheron 222 collection was launched in 1977, following the 222nd anniversary of Vacheron (1755). Although there has been confusion over the years with the designer credited for its design, it was not Gerald Genta, but rather Jorg Hysek. This collection evolved into what is today the Overseas collection.
