Date and moon phase correctors at 11 o’clock on the case side

DIAL: Black matte dial with tritium hour markers, moon phase and date at 12 o’clock

MOVEMENT: Caliber 866, hand wound mechanical chronograph with moonphase and date indications, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Original Omega stainless steel bracelet 1447/805

CONDITION REPORT: Dial is in mint condition and original. The case is unpolished with light signs of wear throughout. The bracelet is in good condition and displays minimal stretch. The previous owner had a small stretch extension installed into the buckle, which is convenient so we left it in there, but it can also be removed easily.

NOTES: According to the Omega Museum (archives extract not ordered) the present watch was produced March 11, 1988 and delivered to Hong Kong.

In 1985, Omega released the first Speedmaster with a Moonphase and a date. This Calibre 861 with added complicated became the Calibre 866. This model reference 345.0809 was delivered from late 1985 until 1988 and only an estimated 1300 pieces were made. This makes the Speedymoon a highly sought after reference.
