DIAL: White 'Panda' dial with black (tropical chocolate brown) counters. Universal Geneve, Compax and SWISS T 25 printed on the dial. Black hour minutes hand, black chronograph seconds hand and white baton counter hands.

CASE: 37mm, stainless steel with lyre lugs, hesalite crystal (with U logo), screw back. Signed U crown.

MOVEMENT: Valjoux 72 (Cal 85), hand wound mechanical column wheel chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Universal Geneve stainless steel Gay Freres bracelet

CONDITION: Mint overall condition, the registers have aged to a tropical brown color and the dial has patinated to a rich cream color. The case is unpolished and the reference & serial number are still clearly visible on the caseback. The bracelet appears to have been added by the previous owner as it was not born on this watch.

NOTES: This watch comes with original box, warranty papers with retailers stamp and hangtag.

The Universal Geneve reference 885103 is nicknamed the Nina Rindt because the model & wife of famous race car driver Jochen Rindt was often seen wearing this watch. The reference she wore had this white ‘panda dial’ and has become a famous nickname.
